  • How much do I get paid, what is the royalty rate?

  • Instead of charging ridiculous reoccurring fees, JustRHYMES.com takes a tiny fee as a percentage of each track sold. Our fees cover our financial transaction fees (interaction with online processing partners), our hosting and management fees. The fee structure setup is currently:

    - Service fees in total are $.15 and 10% of the retail price, per track transaction.
    - The payment processor (Paypal, Credit Card, etc) fees may vary, but we cover those as part of your fees in total - you will not be exposed to those directly.

    For Example: Your track sells for $1.00, the total service fees would be $.25. You'd take home approximately $.75 for each track purchase.

  • How and when do I get paid?

  • You get your profit instantly! Whenever a listener purchases your track from your profile or your custom storefront located on another page, it is immediately issued to your Paypal account less the fees stated above. You can see your payout detail by logging into the artist management section, navigating to the My Store tab and locating your specific info.

  • Can I put up my tracks, but not offer them for sale or download?

  • Yes! If you want to use JustRHYMES.com for promoting your content across the web, but don't actually want to allow people to buy it, just check-off that option in the item chart at upload time (or at any time after it's uploaded for that matter).

  • Is it possible to switch my music from streaming then to downloadable, or to purchasable?

  • Yes! You can use JustRHYMES.com to promote your media without actually offering it for sale. Once you have a music player with your tracks uploaded, you can switch to purchasable, download, or streaming at anytime in the artist management section. Your music player will immediately update your players once you refresh the page.

  • Do I need a Paypal account to work with you? What kind?

  • At this current time, we can only work with artists' that have a Paypal Account, since that's how we give you the money back on your sales. You can sign-up at any time without a Paypal account and start offering tracks for purchase, but we won't be able to pay you until your Paypal account has been authorized. Just a normal/basic personal Paypal account is fine, nothing special is needed.
